We bring Christ to those in need, building the civilization of love He came to establish. We walk in the footsteps of Saint Joseph and Saint Paul, two evangelists who carried the Word Made Flesh to the world.

Saint Paul, who once was Saul, in ardent zeal for the holy Law, sought to imprison and murder the followers of Jesus of Nazareth. Changed forever by an encounter with the Risen Christ, Paul spent the rest of his days sharing the Good News that Messiah had come in fulfillment of the prophecies of old. Paul gave his life bearing witness that Jesus was Son of God and Son of Man, born of the Virgin Mary to restore humanity to paradise by the New and Eternal Covenant in His Blood.

Saint Joseph, in the royal line of King David, was chosen to serve as the earthly father of the Eternal Son. Protecting the mysterious reality of the Eternal Word of God Made Flesh in the womb of Mary, Joseph saved the Child and His Mother from death, both by stoning and from the hands of Herod, as well as from bandits on journeys and in cities, and from every other threat families face. Like Joseph, son of Jacob, the Husband of Mary provided Bread for the world: Jesus Christ.

As members of the Pauline Community of Saint Joseph (PCSJ), we facilitate encounter with the Risen Christ through the spiritual works of mercy. Building the civilization of love, we seek to enlighten, instruct, counsel, and comfort. We help people endure trials patiently and forgive injuries. We pray for the living and the dead.
